Cool Website Bells and Whistles Facebook and UEO

If you are looking around the website this week you’re starting to see some of the changes I talked about several weeks back when we talked about the importance of UEO (user experience optimization). Every search engine out there and Google is the King of search engines is striving to fulfill the promise of great user experience when you click on the top search results of their pages.

Did you just get that? “A great user experience.” And that is the new game in town really.

For far too long marketers have been concerned with SEO at the expense of what some like to call UEO, or “User Experience Optimization.” For far too long manipulating the search engines in any way possible to get to rankings in Google often came at the expense of providing users with a valuable experience once they got to the site.

You’d think it would be pointless to increase search engine results at the expense of good user experience but that’s exactly what was happening. It was embarrassing for Google to have top page rankings on sites that were junk and so they have been at work trying to clean things up with their new “Penguin” and not so new “Panda” updates that we’ve been talking about and joking about on this site lately.

And it’s not just Google who has jumped on board, Bing and Yahoo also seem to be following suit as the top search engines in the business are striving to rank better user optimized sites and guarantee quality results by taking new metrics into consideration in the ranking of sites.

The top search engines have made significant changes to do this including:

  • Measuring speed at which results and landing pages are served to users.
  • Improving the quality of short and long search query results.
  • Injecting as much local content into search results pages as possible.
  • Factoring in social media influence and reach from various platforms.
  • Optimizing experience on each and every user screen.

So your new post Panda and Penguin strategies should include among other things fulfilling each search engine’s promise of great user experience because they are watching, monitoring, and factoring these variables. That “user experience” should include among other things creating an environment that is easily useable, intuitive, fun, social, and that gives your users great value.

I will give everyone some great resources on another post for where to find some of these cool features and how to plug them into your blog to start improving user experience and social interaction in the future.

So today besides being behind the WordPress dashboard most of the day I was over on Michelle and Bill Pescosolido’s site today http://onlinewealthpartner.com/8-cool-apps-for-your-business-on-facebook/  looking at some really cool Facebook apps for your Facebook pages as well as your blogs. And I was really getting it when it comes to user interaction, user optimized experience, and the whole social future of the internet and online marketing.

In fact You really must see the power and impact of Facebook marketing when it is done right. So if you haven’t already done so use the following link now and you’ll see exactly what I mean and begin to:

Squidoo Lens is Tough to Crack

Squidoo Lens is Tough to Crack

Before I get right into it today let me just explain to you a few thoughts about Google, linking, and how to rank in the search engines online. Pretty much the name of the game even in spite of the Google Panda updates is still about linking and link popularity. That is still ultimately the largest most prominent feature that is going to get you ranked in the search engines.

Now there are right ways and wrong ways about going about getting these links, which links are good, which links are bad, how many you can add over a period of time, relevancy, popularity, etc. If you are brand new to the SEO game it can seem overwhelming at first. But it really isn’t so complicated when you understand the basics of it and you have someone who isn’t some teched out alien trying to explain it to you after they’ve had way too much Starbucks and way too little sleep.

In fact that’s why we put the SEO guide up on the website to make all that SEO stuff friendly and down to earth in a one stop SEO resource stop. If you haven’t checked it out yet you really should. Leave me your thoughts when you do I’d love to hear what people think of the new changes.

But anyway back to what I was saying… Basically the thinking has always been the more sites that link to you the better. It’s a pretty simple concept really. And there have been and there still are excellent ways to get links to you site to build that popularity and rank online.

Some of the best strategies have included:

  1. Article Marketing
  2. Web 2.0 Link Building
  3. Social Bookmarking
  4. Forum Backlinks
  5. Writing Press Releases

They are still probably the best and most powerful ways to build links to your site and increase your search engine rankings if done properly. And that is really the key. My point is that doing it right has become a little harder than it once was when not so long ago you could bombard article directories with high page ranks all across the web with poorly spun articles and reap awesome results for it.

Those kinds of tactics today will get your content impounded and your account suspended today if you are not careful. There are still auto-submission directories out there that you can plaster but they don’t command near the page rank and respect they once did when it comes to the search engines, and Google has become very good at identifying duplicate content (articles created from the same content and spun into variations) identifying it as such and not giving you credit for the links.

Which really brings me to my point today which is just how crafty the web is at identifying duplicate and spun content. Tonight I was posting content to several of the best Web 2.0 sites with a brand new spun article that I only intend to use on 10 or so of the best Web 2.0 sites. I had spun the article and done a lot of hands on work to make it unique…

Let me digress here a minute and tell you that Web 2.0 sites are still awesome to get backlinks from if you do it correctly…

So anyway, here I am submitting this content to these top 10 or so sites and before I am done I have messages from Squidoo that I’ve got duplicate content and need to address it or it will be taken off their site! We’re talking about less than an hour or so and I haven’t even finished uploading the last of the batch of these largely handspun articles!

So my point is this… if a Squidoo lens is that tough to crack, then how much tougher is Google going to be to fool? Makes a person seriously consider the consequences doesn’t it?

Come check out the SEO online tab at http://daveschlueteronline.com/seo-online/   and get some further training on these subjects today. Also be sure to opt in for some deeper training and join the mailing list. You’ll move that much closer to my inner circle and some secret strategies to overcome the some of the objections to getting ranked and driving traffic.

As a bonus here are probably all the top web2.0 websites for creating quality backlinks. Write some content, link to your website within the content and publish it on these sites. It’s easy to do after you register and it will be a huge boost for your content and site.

  1. Hubpages

SEO Blog Site Structure for Enhanced UEO

SEO Blog Site Structure for Enhanced UEO

Now that title may make absolutely no sense what so ever to people who haven’t been following this Blog recently and who haven’t heard about what we are doing here on the website. You may not have had the opportunity to learn about the changes to enhance both User Experience Optimization (UEO) and to Search Engine Optimize my blog or (SEO Blog). So it all may be sounding a little alien to you.

If you had been following the SEO Blog updates you would know that yesterday we rolled out the first of several new changes coming to the site to enhance user friendliness and to optimize everything for a better user experience.

It is ultimately what Google is after with the Panda updates and the more I continue to learn the more I see the light in how to provide for customers and to optimize for search engine ranking as well.

That has basically been the undertaking for the site this week. Yesterday we rolled out the new SEO Blog resource page which is an awesome SEO user station for anyone who needs a great one stop destination for their standard SEO needs.

The best part of it is it’s a totally free resource for everyone. It’s the first resource I recommend you  utilize before surfing all over the web for hours and days, or the weeks it could take you to assemble such a simple, logical, and useable repository of information.

I hope that everyone on the team and people just stopping in will get into it, and that they will mine it deeply for all the juicy morsels it contains that are designed to enhance your SEO Blog marketing experience.

Naturally of course the best option is to come closer to the core training and advanced strategies that will only be available by opting in for some deeper level training on Success, Online MLM Marketing, SEO, etc. that you will be exposed to by filling out the form on this website. Might I encourage you to do so? Use the Web Form available at the top of any page on the site.

But back to what I was saying… When you have worked through all the information on the new SEO Guide Resource page you will start getting all kinds of new ideas on how to utilize the information better. You’ll begin to understand and structure you site in ways that take advantage of the principles that drive ranking factors in the post Panda world.

To top it off the updates we are making to the site just make sense.

So if I can coach you here for a minute it goes something like this… How can you find ways to create greater user interaction at your website, get people to stay longer and view more content, and have that content readily accessible at their fingertips when they need it before they even know they wanted it?

How can you better target you keywords for your content and then provide the best content and user oriented experience possible for your user so they stay on your page longer getting to know you. How can you naturally encourage, going deep and viewing the pages and content deep in your site, rather than bouncing somewhere else on the net or worse yet to a competitor site?

Then on top of it all how do you make the experience interactive, simple, easy, and fun for them to share it, save it, bookmark it, and syndicate the awesome experience they just had at your site across the web?

It may sound elementary to someone very advanced at this game, but how do you do it better is a question for every one of every size and experience level.

Those are just some of the questions you need to be asking yourself, not only because it is good business and makes sense like I said earlier, but also because the data your visitors browsing experiences convey to Google about your site and the user experience encountered there are going to be extremely valuable to you in the long run.

Take that to mind as you evaluate your own web presence, and as you glean over the information and valuable resources on the new “SEO Online” page on this SEO Blog Site.

The New SEO Guide SEO Research Made Easy

If you needed one open resource for your SEO research to find what you needed in one convenient location; a location that you could turn to and have most everything at your fingertips to start marketing online and taking full advantage of SEO, where would you turn?

If you had a brand new website you were rolling out next week, and you wanted to get things right the first time right from the start and save yourself the minefield of SEO marketing mistakes, what trusted resource would you turn to for all the right information?

You could hire a consultant I suppose as long as you have ample cash flow to invest in the startup of your new venture. Most people don’t though. In fact a lack of cash flow kills more new Network marketing ventures than any other single factor.

You could buy an expensive course on the subject and try and navigate all the new jargon and ideas, or you could gain entry to a membership site and pay every month for the right to access the websites materials. But once again there is still the crippling issue of money especially for many young startups.

Or you could come to the new SEO Guide at Dave Schlueter Online .com and have an absolute wealth of information and resources right at your fingertips in one convenient location for free. It seems a pretty clear and easy choice to me. Go ahead and make up your own mind on the subject, but until you have fully exploited this one Network Marketing resource I think you are silly to even look anywhere else.

That’s why I am so excited to be rolling out the first of several new features coming to the blog site that will drastically enhance the value and user friendly experience for everyone. The SEO Guide is only the beginning. If you’ve been following my latest blog posts then you know I am excited and on fire to create a better and more valued experience for users of this site and for my team.

It’s not only a part of making the site better for everyone but also part of a better strategy for on-page SEO. You can learn all about it in the new SEO Guide section of the website. If you have been struggling to rank your site, your content, or keywords for the content you are creating then you simply must check out this new and powerful feature of the website.

You’ll find hours of SEO videos from some of the top SEO Gurus, commentary, SEO articles, and resource links for all the SEO content on the website. It is the one stop resource you absolutely need for online success.

I’m not kidding when I tell you I wish someone had provided a site like this that I had access to when I first started out online. What an amazing blessing that would have been. And that is exactly the reason why I have put this MLM resource together for everybody to use. Let’s put this awesome SEO guide to work creating what it is intended to do by boosting your online success and abundance.

SEO Wizards and Blog Site Innards

Today has been another day in the mystical magical land of the SEO Wizards poring over content, categorizing it and developing a new layout for this blog that will not only be more user friendly and valuable, but it will also be better optimized for SEO. You’ll see me progressively rolling it out over the next few weeks as this blog takes its new shape and form.

There are several key reasons for this change and they are worth noting especially in the post Panda Google updated world. If that goes over some ofgoogle-penguin-update your heads don’t sweat it you’ll understand all of it soon as I begin rolling out the first of the big changes on this blog.

The first reason for this change is to make everything on this blog more user friendly and interactive. There is a lot of content rich material on this website and having it better at users fingertips when they want it is a primary concern.

The second reason is a more content rich and user optimized experience is where the future of SEO is headed. Oh sure there are still black hat techniques out there that can be manipulated for results but a lot of the things you could do a year ago to get you ranked and rewarded will get you penalized today.

The trick today is to build a truly rewarding content rich and user optimized experience. Think of today’s SEO more as UEO or “user experience optimization.” You have to have excellent content as always, but you have to make the whole experience more user friendly for the visitor than it is for a search bot spidering your web.

Actually the truth in the matter is you need to do both. The difference today is there is more of a trend toward your users interaction as ranking factors that enhance or detract how you are scored based on the algorithms interpretation of their experiences.

How long are people staying on your site? How many pages are they viewing on your site, are they bookmarking or sharing your content? Do they quickly bounce from your page back to the search engine and then to another site or do they stay and find what they are looking for on your site. All of these metrics are monitored and determine how your rank in todays advanced search rankings. You can’t simply stuff your site with backlinks and think that will produce the results you want. It may for a week or two but then your rankings will plummet again.

And in the end I believe it is better for everyone. You should be building the best user experience possible for your visitors and you should be rewarded for that effort more so than writing unintelligible articles and plastering them to thousands of sites across the webisphere in an attempt to get you ranked better. That stuff use to get you ranked quickly and lastingly but it polluted the net with cyber-garbage that was of little use to consumers and people genuinely seeking good content and information.

So hang with me over the next several weeks as I roll out some changes that make this whole site friendlier and as usual continue to bring you excellent content and training.

A Little MLM Secret for SEO Success

A Little MLM Secret for SEO Success

Today has been one of those long SEO sessions spent strategizing, learning the latest and greatest MLM secrets, techniques, wrestling with the concepts and focus on successlooking over data pondering how to use all that information to get the greatest impact possible for my marketing and business efforts.

I’ve been digging into a lot of SEO strategies and pouring over how to best position myself and my marketing within the ever changing and evolving web landscape. Now that may sound like a terrible task to some of you, but really it isn’t…

Let me explain a little MLM secret to you…

It’s Like Playing Chess with the Market

chessI always think of it as an advanced strategy game that we’re playing. A little Like chess I guess.

It’s like you’re playing chess with the market and with Google trying to position your objective in check mate where it has to give up all its treasure to you.

The payoff in this game is though is much greater than mere bragging rights alone. We’re talking about playing for real treasure in one of the most lucrative industries in the world. MLM has produced singlehandedly more millionaire success stories than any other single business I know of, and that’s an exciting game to be playing.

You make a move and then watch the web-data to see what kind of effect you are producing on the playing field. It’s fun and exciting even if a lot of the information gathering and SEO can be a slow boring process.

Keyword research is just one example.

You can learn a ton from keyword research but how fun is it to pour hours of your day into it to find the gems that will ultimately propel you forward, create your strategy, and position you to win in the marketplace as an online MLM marketer.

Do you want to be a Network Marketing professional and earn the big bucks or an amateur? You’d better get your head in the game.

Sure there are tools to perform a lot of the mundane tasks of MLM online marketing and SEO, and you should take advantage of every one of them that makes your life that much easier. But don’t become reliant on them totally.

You never know when Google will change the fabric of the SEO landscape and leave you and your wonder tool wondering what happened to your search engine rankings overnight. This has been the case too many times for too many marketers totally reliant on one strategy or system alone to produce all their results.

Take a more holistic approach to your marketing; get the MLM secrets to stay abreast of what is working and what is not in the industry right now.

Learn the MLM secrets that work, don’t be afraid to diversify into several things that produce for you. Don’t fall into the one tool/strategy trap and don’t panic when Google or the market makes a move that has you baffled for the time being.

Remember this MLM secret…

“It’s just a game we’re playing.” So have fun, keep on top of what’s hot and what’s not, remain flexible, and enjoy the spoils of your victory.

There really is no business in the world like Network Marketing and we’re not playing for bragging rights here, were playing for real life treasure.
