The Incredible Power of Focus

How we use our focus determines largely not only how we feel, but also how successful, and wealthy we will become in our lives. Focus truly effects all aspects of our being. It filters our reality, and effects our happiness, joy, peace, and abundance. These habits of focus that we regularly feed from, have the power to make or break a life.

Napoleon Hill said “Thoughts are things, and powerful things at that.” They must be mastered if we are to reach high levels of success, wealth, abundance, joy, and happiness. It’s this aspect of thought, over which we have the greatest potential for control. Little else in life responds as well as our own thoughts do when subjected to the direction of the will. Above all things in life, God seems to have given us the greatest amount of power when it comes to the right to choose our own thinking. So by all means use that power, and train yourself to choose good and healthy thought habits. Your success and happiness depend on it. As a matter of fact you are where you are at in life today, and who you are today, because of your habits of thought. Possibly you should give this some consideration. It might be well for you to decide what these statements mean to you personally.

To be successful in life you must focus your thoughts and attention on things that will empower, and motivate you. They must help you to feel great about yourself, and drive you forward passionately toward your goals. There’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but you must condition yourself to eliminate focusing and thinking about things that dis-empower you, cause you to feel less than, and that de-rail your progress and productivity. These things do not help and only posses power to harm you. A short constructive reprimand when called for is a positive event. Self-loathing, pity, condemnation, and negative thinking is not. There is great power in this. If you focus on cant’s you won’t. If you focus on can’s you will. As I have heard Wayne Dyer put it “What you focus on in life tends to expand.”

But just how do you accomplish a shift in focus? That’s where self-talk comes in. You must become aware of the self-talk you are using on a consistent basis. The things you say to yourself, and especially the questions you mentally ask are extremely important.

Questions like: “Why can’t I get it together?” will send your brain scrambling, searching the memory vaults, gathering data and experiences to put together a plausible answer. Your question has essentially given your brain an order (a directive), and it’s going to follow through to the best of its ability and not let you down if possible. It’s going to do it’s best and provide you with an answer. It doesn’t matter whether or not you can get it together or not. You didn’t ask your brain for that response. You gave your brain specific instructions to show you how you can’t, and it’s going to do it’s very best to show you. Reality in the matter makes no difference. Your brain will perform the task expertly, and provide an answer that seems justified, relevant, and real to you. You are left completely dis-empowered and feeling like crap as a result of poor questioning and bad focus. As a matter of fact you may convince yourself that it’s hopeless regardless of what the truth may be. Why even try? Right? The brain has already showed you just how and why it won’t work. You’re convinced, and so you behave and react accordingly. It becomes your reality. Your destiny. Your truth. Your self-fulfilling prophecy. Your path.

But wait. Hold on a minute. What if you ask your brain to show you how you can get it together? And what if you really expect to get an answer? What would happen if you took this a little further and asked yourself repeatedly, often, and with strong expectation and emotion? Do you think you will get a strong response? Maybe even one that works? Do you think you will get positive results from this kind of questioning? You bet you will! The brain will perform this duty flawlessly and deliver. So which reality do you desire? How will you choose to use the most powerful bio-computer on the planet? How will you decide to use the power of questioning, self-talk, and focus in your life. Again your answers largely determine the results you will get.

The power of your brain is absolutely amazing. It will show you the way just as strongly no matter which way you choose to apply it. And what’s even more amazing is the answer will be correct and entirely usable. You can depend on it. When you link this tool, and the will and purpose of your Creator together, miraculous things are known to manifest. It’s up to you to decide how you will direct this amazing power, this gift, and tool you have been provided with.

Values and Beliefs vs Success

Think about this: Your values and beliefs are the very driving force behind your behavior. If you change a person’s values and beliefs, it will absolutely change their life and destiny. The problem is so few people think and meditate on this simple truth.

Too few people really know and understand just what their values and beliefs are and how they are affecting their daily lives. They do not realize the necessity to change, modify, and remove less than inspiring beliefs for a life of success and absolute abundance. Too few people stop to realize that this is as much a factor in their business success as choosing the right marketing system, mentor, or team.

They haven’t taken the time to identify and inventory this important aspect of who they are, how it may be limiting them, and what needs to be done. They have no idea what directives and programs are piloting their destiny behind the scenes. And so it’s true that in many ways they have no idea why they do the things they do, why they fail, self-sabotage their best efforts, and exhibit an assortment of other baffling tendencies, habits, and behaviors. Sound like anyone you might know?

These good people may have dreams, goals, and ambitions, but forever seem to struggle to make any headway towards them. They talk big and dream big but forever seem to remain stuck in mediocrity. They never reach critical mass; they never attain flight, or the lofty ambitions of their hearts.

Most people who suffer this fail to comprehend that their beliefs and values may be the greatest limiting factor to their success, happiness, and fulfillment. We have all been victims of this to some degree. Many have neglected to embrace the reality that they did not willingly choose or personally design the values and beliefs that are directing their lives, let alone review them for accuracy or soundness of principle. Most of this conditioning was provided by others and as products of their impressionable environments. You were really just kind of subjected to it growing up.

Many of these values and beliefs were the products of less than favorable environments, and human examples, presented to us in our environments. When this is the case it is safe to assume diligent effort and work will be required to mend some of these beliefs.
If you are not happy, successful, wealthy, and abundant in joy already, and this is your goal, then correction of your beliefs and values will probably be necessary? If you haven’t taken the time to inventory your beliefs and values, and design them to serve your life purpose and mission the time is now. Don’t wait any longer to incorporate new and empowering beliefs as a part of your success equation.

Many people don’t realize just how simple it is to eliminate a limiting value or belief, and replace it with one that is designed for success. First let’s make it clear that a belief is really no more than a statement about something that you decide is true. You may believe that you deserve the best from life and are rightly entitled to it. Maybe not. You may believe you are less than and undeserving of great wealth, abundance, and success. It really makes no difference whether it’s truly a fact or not. You’re right either way…Master communicator and success author Anthony Robbins said it best. “As long as you believe it, you are right! It’s your belief.”

You see beliefs are usually large generalizations, or assumptions about things, and they can be stated as such.
Examples are “Life is ____________.”, “ I am _________.”, “People are____________.” Etc., etc.
But beliefs also have requirements attached to fulfill them. Examples are “If, then, type scenarios. “To feel successful, I must _____________!” “To really feel loved, then __________,_________,and_________ must happen.”

We all have these requirements, or pre-requisites hard wired in our nervous systems. These factors must be fulfilled before you can experience a specific emotional state. That’s how it works. And these pre-requisites are different for different people. That’s why we don’t all react the same way to certain things when they happen. Certainly there are similarities among us, but your belief system, and your rules and requirements are still uniquely your own.

Beliefs are not permanent things though. They can be changed in an instant. You may not believe me but It’s happening around you all the time. For example, a trustworthy belief in a spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, or significant other, that they will not wound and violate your heart, is changed the instant that person is found guilty of such a crime. The change is instantaneous and dramatic. Your rock solid confidence, trust, and belief, is changed quickly, effectively, radically, and lastingly. In fact you may never be able to get back to the former belief again.

In the light of new evidence, your beliefs change, and it becomes almost impossible or at the least very difficult to get back to your former belief. You may still choose to hold on to your old beliefs but it doesn’t make any sense to. The belief no longer serves you well. So instead there is a dramatic, effective, and immediate change. Your belief system is modified to better serve you. It was designed to work this way and you can do it with any of your beliefs if you know how.

When we continue to cling to limiting and damaging beliefs, ones that no longer serve us we perpetuate our problems. We handicap our progress and harm ourselves unnecessarily. This comes about when we either willfully refuse to let go of limiting beliefs that hinder or harm us (which is insanity), or when we haven’t yet identified our beliefs as the limiting factor that is holding us back and hurting us (which is ignorance.) Both situations require personal responsibility and a willingness to accept ourselves as we are before we can grow to become that which we desire to be. You see there are pre-requisites to growth and personal responsibility and honesty concerning oneself are absolute requirements. Both situations must be remedied or our conduit and line to success will remain obstructed.

Begin a line of clear, honest, and direct communication with yourself. Learn the skills of self-evaluation, rigorous honesty, the evaluation of your values and beliefs, and the re-setting of them for absolute success and abundance. To learn more sign up for some free training today.

Awakening the Good Samaritan

It is never a mistake to learn how to be more successful, wealthier, or more fulfilled. It is never a mistake to learn how to be happier in your relationships and in your life. And it is never a mistake to learn how to have a better relationship with your GOD, higher power, or whatever force, inspiration, or power it is that leads, guides, and inspires you toward worthy and life enriching intention.

Are you familiar with the story of the Good Samaritan? We will use it here to depict our point:

A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.  A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.  So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.  But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.  He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.  The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?

The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

The Good Samaritan was a good Samaritan because of the resources he had to offer in conjunction with the good intention within him that directed his charity and good-samaritanempathy toward his fellow man. Without the resources of capital to provide for the person in need, the Samaritan is still good, but he is left largely unable to care for the needs of his neighbor. Intention alone is not sufficient.

As Wayne Dyer says, and I’m paraphrasing You simply can’t be poor enough to make someone else rich, and you can’t be sick enough to make someone else well.” If we seek to change things in the world, I am reminded of the words of Gandhi “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Believe me, if you think money is the root of all evil then I guarantee you haven’t spent much time in a poor neighborhood. Love of money may be the root of all evil, but money itself is not evil or good but simply a tool.

Money is neutral. It can be used to benefit or to harm; it depends on the hands of the person it’s in. Money doesn’t care either way. Given this truth, then my question for you is this “whose hands do you prefer the abundance of wealth to be in?”

money mountainsBut where will this wealth come from? There’s no sense re-inventing the wheel when there are already so many good tires to choose from. You’ll need to decide which of the wealth vehicles suits you personally and outfit yourself accordingly with the tire or tires of your choice.

Decide which provides best for your unique personal needs and then pursue it with passion. As it should be obvious we have chosen Network Marketing as our vehicle of choice and built our team in a particular fashion for a reason.

There are ways to make the most of each of the money roads, and to make the most of yourself along the way. To do this we refer to the road maps. We refer to these as systems and they may include tools as part of the plan designed for you to generate the greatest results possible, with the least amount of trouble, in as short a time as possible.

You must prepare yourself accordingly for success. Success doesn’t just fall in your lap because you read the map! You need to follow the system as directed.

You’ll need to take consistent action and continually monitor your progress and performance along the way. Are you on track? Are you following through regularly with the plan? How is it working? Good, bad, up, down, or otherwise? Are you off course or on course? Given your results, you may need to modify and make adjustments to the plan accordingly as you live, learn, and grow.

Capitalize on the experience and know-how of those who have gone before you and successfully plotted the route that you must follow.

Be yourself and develop your individual personality, but when it comes to the road of success, don’t veer too far from the tried and true path. Do this and dave mmmmsave yourself years of trial and error, feigned victory and devastating defeat.

Persevere, until you fulfill your plan, and attain the desired results. Don’t re-invent the wheel. Be smart. Pick a proven system. Pick a solid team. Build a solid foundation for success. The wealth of experience and frustration saving strategies you’ll find are more than worth the expense, effort, and capital, you may exhaust in finding them. This will pay handsome dividends for you in the end.

It seems simple enough to understand and yet it is amazing how many people will suffer needlessly because they will not invest in themselves to a sufficient enough degree to attain the training necessary for their own success.

People will invest thousands of dollars and spend years of their time attaining a college education so they can “get a good job.” But the very same people remain reluctant, doubting and often unwilling to invest the time effort or capital necessary to insure their own financial success.

A good job is neither a guarantee nor a contractual agreement that assures you success in life. For most a JOB stands just over broke.

People often won’t put down the three to five thousand required for a training session that has been specifically designed for their personal success and financial needs. A three day seminar is just too much time to afford they claim, but the ten years of schooling and the inherent student debt necessary to become a doctor these days makes perfect sense to them. Go figure!

Make no mistake about it; you will reward yourself tremendously by investing in the specific strategies needed to win playing the game of life. Paying heed to this simple yet vital suggestion and applying it to your own personal destiny will serve you well on the road to great achievement.

If you want to know how to develop a state of mind, and way of living that will attract success and abundance into your life, then you have stumbled upon a landmark opportunity.

If you need to change your mind from failure conscious to success consciousness and bust out of your old self negating routines, then you are in the right place. And if you would like to know how to convert your ideas into success and to co-create the life that you desire, then get ready to celebrate.

This is the vision and hope I have for you as we move forward together on your journey toward success.
